Something's Fishy....

This is what happens when I run out of fruit and vegetables before I have time to do the shopping... brown lunches.

Reguradless, this still fits the cute bill - and has a touch of humor to boot!  Squiggy was proud.
The plate, in case you can't manage to read it under all that food - says, "Pub Grub" across the top, and "Fish and Chips" round the bottom.

This fishy fellow was fun to craft - I formed him out of two onigiri mashed together, filled with fish and batter (My first attempt at lunch today involved trying to make fishsticks from scratch but they fell apart - I got creative and shoved'em inside onigiri!).  Cut pieces of nori and olives make up his features, and he swims upon a bed of home fried potato wheels.  His belly is coming dangerously close to those pickled asparagus spears.  Boy, are they spicy!!

All in all, not bad for a bunch of brown, eh?
