Cheesiest Ghost Ever.

He's all like - MY MEATBALLS.  MIIINE!!
Ow ow ow ow ow - horrible pun!  he's cheesy, yes, because he's made of cheese.  No - wait - I regret nothing! No excuses!  The world needs more horrible puns.

Do you have any horrible food puns? Post'em in the comments!  I'd love to share them... the larger the groan achieved, the better the pun is.

Quick click the pic for the haunted how-to.  ^_^

80s Dracula?

I feel he needs a boombox...
Aaaawwww yeah, this Vampire's rockin' the flattop, my man.  Totally 80s.  Ooor 90s?  Someone help me out here, I'm lost.  ^_^*

He's even got the whole popped collar thing going on. LOL.

I went and packed into a Lock'n'Lock container - which I've found makes a wonderful "tight bento" - one that could be used to pack soup or other liquidy foods because it has a silicone sealing ring.

As always, click the pic for the specs and how-to!

Witch-a Believe it?

I'll get you, my pretties!
I know, I know - another Halloween bento posted up in December. This is what I get for having such a ridiculous backlog... shame on me for not posting more often.  T_T

Here's to undoing that trend and keeping all of you more informed on the cute food trend in my kitchen!  ^_^*

Our lovely witch has donned her best wickedly pointed hat, ready to hop on her broomstick at the slightest hint of the full moon rising. Click her pic to see her feline companion and Jack-o-Lanterns!

Rabbit Food =:3

BUNNAMAME!
Oh!  MATHS!  Bunny + Edamame = BUNNAMAME.  Sounds like the title of a 50's monster-mash drive-in movie.  0_0

This was a very quick bento - a Speed Bento, if you will.  I only had 10 mins to put the whole thing together!

Bunnies are a common theme in the bentos I make, because they are my Husband's favorite animal.  And they're cute to boot!  ^_^*

Science Flair? More like Science FAIL. T_T

Maybe I should call them Bettas?
Well - as promised, here are the two other dishes in the Science Flair Bento...

To the left are Koi, and it's difficult to tell they're supposed to be fish, so I consider them slightly botched in that respect. Not bad, just difficult.

The third dish, however... ugh. You'll just have to look after the jump, if you're brave enough.

Does this one... BUG you?

Oh no! They're making an escape!
... and now that I've lost half of my readers due to such a terrible pun, I shall attempt to bring you all back with descriptors of imaginative displays of food.

We have today one specimen jar, filled with three Coccinella magnifica - more commonly known as Ladybugs. We have included in the jar a sample of Lactuca sativa so they may ingest it.  This specific variety is called Romaine Lettuce.

ArrrrRed Pandaaaaarrrr!

Ahoy, Cap'in!
I got to thinking on how the rowdy Red Panda -my favorite animal - might be made even more astoundingly adorable and somehow PIRATES! came to mind.

So I made a Red Panda Pirate, complete with eyeptach. You can't be a pirate with all of your parts, after all.

As always, details after the jump!
